Why it matters
When a gutter blocks, rainwater overflows down your walls. That’s how you end up with damp patches inside, mould, rotten fascias and, in the worst cases, problems with the foundations. Overflowing gutters also make a nice home for pests. A clean once or twice a year costs a lot less than fixing any of that.
When to book
Late autumn, once the leaves are down, is the big one. In the New Forest, with all the trees, a spring clean as well is a good idea.
